Absorbers

With growing demands on the environment absorbers become the integral part or air-conditioning Absorbérysystems in industrial and chemical plants. The principle of the action of absorbers and its concrete constructional execution is chosen in dependance on the input data (regulated volume, concentration, chemical composition and temperature) of the polluted air.

Construction

Absorbers are constructed as self-supporting tanks, usually with integrated reservoir for the absorbing agent. An integrated part of the absorber is a closed sprinkle circuit with an independent pump. The intervals of the refilling of the solution are determined in dependance on the saturation of the solution and also on the chemical composition of the cleaned air.

Technical description

The basic division of absorbers is into horizontal and verical. Horizontal absorbers are filling - PALL rings hydrophilyzed, vertical absorbers are filling or foam. Absorbers are of circular, square or rectangular section. Absorbing liquid is usually water, in more complicated cases it is special agent. According to the volume of sieved gas and to the demands on its cleaning absorber contains one or more levels. The circulation of the absorbing liquid is provided by spraying by jets or it flows on the levels over the inlet channel.

FacilitiesAbsorbéry

Common facilities of absorbers are level indicators that measure max. level of the filling, min. level and operating level. Refilling of the absorbing solution is automatic on the base of signals of the level indicator. Circulating pump is secured by min. level, or by the protection of dry running. Then a part of absorber can be a pH probe and a doser of appropriate chemicals, or the cooler of the absorbing solution. The drops trap is placed behind absorber.
